Our mission is to facilitate the college experience for minority students and provide the support and resources needed to apply, enroll, and succeed in the college of their dreams. We understand that the college application process can be discouraging, tedious, and unfamiliar territory for many, and we are here to help. ASC College Consulting will provide services including assistance with the college application process, campus tours, mentorship programs, information sessions, and more for current and future college students.

Andrea Cordero Women in STEM Scholarship | 2022-2023

The Andrea Cordero Women in STEM Scholarship was created to assist with the cost of textbooks and supplies. The scholarship will be awarded to minority female students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the STEM field. Textbooks and supplies for STEM majors can be costly, Andrea Cordero hopes that this scholarship can assist with those costs. This $1,000 scholarship will be distributed during the beginning of the Fall semester. Application deadline: June 1, 2022.

 Hello my name is David Evans, and I am a student from the graduating class of 2021 who earned a dorm package from ASC College Consulting. I was delighted to receive my dorm package because my college did not necessarily provide a packing list, so I did not know what I needed. However, in receiving the dorm package, I got all the essentials, and it took financial cost and worry off my plate. A piece of advice I have to offer students of color who are looking to attend college, is to definitely engage with ASC College Consulting, because they have authentically helped to make the transition to college that much easier by providing high quality dorm essentials.

 I am extremely happy to be awarded the Andrea Cordero Women in STEM Scholarship. I am currently in my final year of college, and I did not receive enough financial aid to cover the cost for this semester, this scholarship will help support my studies and allow me to get all the materials that I need for this upcoming semester. I am majoring in Public Health which is a very essential field in our healthcare system; I am interested in continuing my studies in disparities for minorities in maternal and infant health and provide interventions that will make a positive effect in our communities. Thank you for your support and believing in me.
